Community standards
Community Rules
The standards that apply in every Project Rhodesia community space.
These rules apply everywhere Project Rhodesia operates: this website, our games, and our official community spaces on other platforms. Moderators may remove content or restrict access when these rules are broken.
Not allowed
- Hate speech and slurs. No ethnic, racial, religious or other slurs, and no content attacking people for who they are.
- Extremism. No extremist propaganda, symbols used to promote hatred, or recruitment for real-world political or violent movements. Discussing history is welcome; glorifying oppression or violence is not.
- Harassment and threats. No targeted harassment, threats, or encouraging others to pile on.
- Doxxing and privacy violations. Never share someone's personal or identifying information without their consent.
- Sexual content involving minors, or any other illegal material. This is reported to the appropriate authorities.
- Spam, scams and malware. No phishing, impersonation, malicious links or unsolicited advertising.
- Deliberate historical misinformation. Presenting known falsehoods as sourced fact. Honest mistakes are corrected through normal editing and discussion, not punished.
Expected
- Treat other members with basic respect, including when you disagree.
- Keep discussions in the right place, and keep historical discussion grounded in sources.
- Report problems to a moderator instead of escalating them yourself.
Enforcement
Moderators may warn, mute, remove content, or suspend access depending on how serious a violation is. If you believe a decision was wrong, you can ask for it to be reviewed by a different staff member.
