RHODESIA GOES IT ALONE!
Until today, Project Rhodesia has always lived on someone else's platform. Our community has moved between chat platforms more than once, and every move cost us something. Members never found their way to the new place, conversations and history got left behind, and we were always playing by rules we didn't write.
So we've stopped the madness. From today, Project Rhodesia has a home of its own.
Why we did it
No more starting over. Another platform changing its mind won't be able to scatter our community again. This is where we'll be, for good.
Nothing gets lost. Forum threads, guides, and announcements stay where they are. When someone asks a question next year, this year's answer will still be here.
Economics. Compared to having our own custom community, the prices we were being extorted on our previous community hosting service were enormous.
Room to grow. Project Rhodesia is a studio, not a single game. We hope to build more, and they'll all share this one home.
What's open today
- Your own account. Pick any username, add a picture, a banner, and a short bio. We never ask for your real name.
- Roblox linking, if you want it. Link through Roblox's own sign-in for a verified badge. We never see your password, and you can unlink at any time.
- The forums. General chat, Seek & Strike, suggestions, bug reports, and a help desk. Introduce yourself in General. We'd like to know who's here.
Accounts are for ages 13 and up. Please read the Community Rules and Forum Rules before you post.
What's next
The wiki is being filled in behind the scenes and will open once there's enough in it to be worth reading. Live chat and voice rooms come after that. The roadmap shows where everything stands. With our home built, most of our attention now goes back where it belongs: the games.
